It’s a clever idea not to draw a bike with a pen or marker, in case your lines aren’t perfect the first time you try it.
And don’t forget to grab more than one piece of paper because you’re likely to mess up a few times since you’re not a professional. Grab a pair of rulers and measurements supplies, including compasses, for perfect-looking circles.

Start With Triangles
For the most part, drawing shapes will help you during your art piece. Start by drawing an upside-down triangle with a pencil.
Essentially the triangle has to be bent inwards, so you can either do that or drawing a boomerang shape will also do. Next, draw two lines opposite each other at a distance.
The lines represent the poles that will attach the bike to the tires. One line should be at the front of the bike, while the other should represent the back.
Measure the accurate distance between the two lines using a scale if you have to. Just make sure your lines are straight so that the result can look clean and professional.

It’s Time For The Inside
Start by drawing an odd-looking triangle above the line at the back of your bike. The odd triangle should have a square-looking base. Make sure to draw this triangle near the place where you draw the exhaust pipe.
The next shape needs to be drawn at the bottom of the pipe. Draw an oval shape on the bottom line you have already drawn. The oval shape will connect the pole that will carry the back tire. The oval shape should enclose the bottom line.
Draw a square with three normal sides with a base bent inwards. Draw this square shape next to the boomerang shape and the line you drew to represent the front of the bike.
Near the intersection of the last shape you drew and the line, create a half-circle. The dirt bike might look weird at this stage but just trust the drawing process.

Draw The Tires
The parallel lines you created at the beginning of your drawing are where your bike tires will go.
Draw one circle on each side. The circles should be drawn around the lines so that the end of the line should be left in the middle of the tire.
This is where your bike drawing will start to come together. The dirt bikes usually have the right balance with this shape. The shape is what brings stability to the bike.

Make The Exhaust Pipe
It’s now time to add little details to your drawing. Start by adding a small circle inside of the oval shape. This circle represents the chains for the tires. Next, draw the exhaust pipe under the second odd triangle at the back of the bike.
The exhaust pipe should look similar to a baseball bat. After you’re done, draw a square shape in the middle of the bike. It should lay between the chain, the exhaust pipe, and the seat.
Create another half circle under the one you first drew and connect them, basically like a crescent moon, to create dimension.

Add Details
The pole that will connect the front tire to the body has to be drawn wide. Make a parallel line starting from the tire to the end of the line. Next, add the handlebars at the top of the poles where the tires lie.
Make two lines that are horizontal and connect them both using a circle. Now, the kind of shape that looks like a headlamp. And add a mushroom-looking body on the top side of your handles.

Connect Everything And Add Finishing Touches
Draw a line from the chain cover to the tire. Make sure to go under the chain cover. Next, draw a line with a square-looking dent and curve it till the tire cover in the front of the bike.
Draw a tail next to the seat of the bike. The tail should be triangular, start from the existing seat, and go back. Bring the line back once the line is over the exhaust and the middle of the back tire.
Now connect this line at the top of the odd triangle. Above the curve you just created, add some more curves and connect them to make the drawing look more realistic.
Lastly, you can add details like bolts on the bike for more dimension, and you can also color your drawing if you’re into that!
